About

Built in the 1700s and steeped in character, Hill House is a Grade II listed Georgian terrace that was once a tavern and has been transformed into six individually styled boutique en-suite rooms, each with its own mood, colour palette, and visual narrative. From large windows framing Bath’s skyline to hidden nooks and original features, every corner invites you to linger and breathe.

Good to know

Our most desirable room on the 1st floor is our Belvedere deluxe room, with a super-king bed, a lounge area with a sofa and a large screen TV with regular channels. The sofa turns into a sofabed to sleep a 3rd guest or a child. In your room there is a kettle, coffee maker, hairdryer, adaptor plug and wifi as well. Your private bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and toilet.

- Treat the property as you’d treat yours and please take off your shoes. - Please keep your noise level down especially after 9pm in consideration to the neighbours, leave it reasonably tidy and wash your dishes. - Staying after checkout without previous agreement: £100 + £30 per every hour started. - Smoking/vaping is strictly forbidden, charge for smoking: £250 + associated extra cleaning costs.

We are located on the corner of Lansdown road and Morford Street. Out location allows for some brilliant views over the city of Bath, and we are within short walk to all the major attractions in the city centre. Across the street from Hill House there is a much beloved Camden Crescent with one of the oldest wisteria plants found in UK. The view from Camden Crescent extends for miles over the city and beyond.

Our suite was quite fashionably lovely and comfortable. It is in a great location but be prepared for a hike up the hills to Hill House. There were some minor housekeeping matters that I hope are corrected for future guests. I recommend a stay here.

It was a very cozy, comfy place, and the room is decorated so beautifully, it really added to the experience. The bed is insanely comfy :) There's a coffee machine, a kettle, teas, biscuits, a TV, magazines and books on Bath, so many additional things that make staying here so much more special. Really appreciate it. Also loved that heating could be controlled. Best recommendations! The only small thing is that its on a pretty steep hill. However, the views are great and some excersise is never a bad thing.

The design is amazing ! The level of small details and how it all looks together - it was so artistic ! The bed was super comfy! Just to carry the luggage to the second floor without the lift is tough but otherwise it was fantastic !

Whoever designed the rooms has the most exceptional taste - we felt lucky to be in there, it was so gorgeous! The perfect base for a little city break, we’re excited to come back ♥️
