Built in the 1700s and steeped in character, Hill House is a Grade II listed Georgian terrace that was once a tavern and has been transformed into a huge boutique house for 18 guests. 6 bedrooms (with 6 en-suite bathrooms) each with its own mood, colour palette, and visual narrative and an additional basement apartment with private bathroom as well. From large windows framing Bath’s skyline to hidden nooks and original features, every corner invites you to linger and breathe.

Hill House is a huge boutique house that can accommodate 18 guests in 6 bedrooms and an additional basement apartment. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, the basement apartment has a bathroom as well. All 7 bathrooms have walk-in showers. On the ground floor there is a charming, beautifully furnished lounge, a fully fitted kitchen (with 2 ovens, 2 large fridges), a spacious dining room and a utility room (with a washer/dryer). There is access to the back courtyard as well. On the first floor landing there is a separate toilet. On the first floor there is a super-king room for 2 with private bathroom. There is also a super-king suite with lounge area and sofabed to sleep 3 guests, and a bathroom. The second floor has the same rooms as the first floor, one super-king bedroom for 2 and a super-king suite for 3. Both have bathrooms as well. On the third floor there is a twin room for 2 and a super-king room for 2, both rooms have a bathroom. In the basement there is a separate apartment with an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with a sofabed and a super-king bedroom, a full bathroom and additional toilet. The apartment sleeps 4 guests. Each and every room has its own TV (with regular channels), kettle and hairdryer. Some rooms feature a desk as well. Of course wifi is available throughout.

- Treat the property as you’d treat yours and please take off your shoes. - Please keep your noise level down especially after 9pm in consideration to the neighbours, leave it reasonably tidy and wash your dishes. - Fee for losing/damaging the keys or being locked out: £100 (Please note we can't guarantee to solve a situation like this after 7pm.) - Staying after checkout without previous agreement: £100 + £50 per every hour started. - Smoking/vaping is strictly forbidden, charge for smoking: £250 + associated extra cleaning costs.

Accessibility

Neighborhood

We are located on the corner of Lansdown Road and Morford Street. Out location allows for some brilliant views over the city of Bath, and we are within short walk to all the major attractions in the city centre. Across the street from Hill House there is a much beloved Camden Crescent with one of the oldest wisteria plants found in UK. The view from Camden Crescent extends for miles over the city and beyond.
